Test Maker Online is a FREE TO USE services for creating and printing tests. You can write your own questions for your tests, which are freely available to any user in the same group as yourself. A group could for example be created for a department within your school. Alternatively if you want to create tests without writing your own questions you can browse and purchase questions for your group from the Test Maker database.

The system accepts seven styles of questions. They include multilple choice with or without images, short answer with or without images, long answer questions with or without images and multi answer with images. The latter are ideal where you would like the student to identify labels on a diagram.

You can create a test and add any of your group's questions to it. Created tests are available to anyone in your group. Once a test has been created it can be viewed, edited and printed. A mark scheme can also be printed for each test.

As an author of questions you will receive a payment for each question other users from different groups purchase. You set the amount you wish to sell your questions for, and you receive payment in the form of a cheque to your reqistered address once your total reaches £25. IDD Software takes 20% (or 10p whichever is the highest) of the cost of each question sold to cover the costs of administering the website and database.

You can keep track of your question's performance, number of groups using your questions, payments received and outstanding from within Test Maker Online. Questions can also be edited to a certain degree or deleted if they have not been purchased by anyone.
